An Introduction to the Facilities Management Profession
On Wednesday 1st May at Arcadis at Kings Cross, we will be hosting an afternoon all about the Facilities Management Profession for those just starting out in their career, those looking to make a career change, or those who simply want to find out more.
Representatives from IWFM will keep us up to date with what is going on in the organisation and how they can help aspiring Facilities Managers start out and progress in their careers
A range of organisations will be in attendance ready to share information about the part they play in the FM profession including Universities and Colleges, Service Providers, Recruiters, Trainers and Consultants.
A number of industry speakers who are passionate about their career choice of FM will be talking about how they got into FM, the challenges and opportunities both to date and as they look forward. These will range from an apprentice at the start of their career through to experienced professional that have changed career. These will include;
Laura Birnbaum – IWFM Manager of the Year 2018
Paul McNally – IWFM Newcomer of the year
Conrad Dinsmore – IWFM Newcomer of the year
Pleun van Deurssen – Rising Stars SIG chair
Graham Forrester – Career Change

Drinks and light refreshments will be served throughout the event with a networking opportunity at the end.
