Site Manager

South West. Devon and Cornwall - £35k - £42k

Due to our planned growth we are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager.

This is an exciting position for an enthusiastic and passionate Site Manager with experience of utility and civil engineering. As a Site Manager with our Devon & Cornwall team, reporting into the project manager, you will be working on a variety of projects in the surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience working on waste and water networks. You will have worked in a similar role and have experience of managing multi-disciplined teams on site. You will need to manage the site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality specifications. You will be responsible for the management of the site, ensuring operatives and sub-contractors understand their roles and responsibilities, demonstrate good financial knowledge and ensure site records and programme are maintained. Reporting to the Operations Director the successful candidate will possess the following essential qualities:

Effective project and contract delivery skills

Team working and leading others

Strong drive for achievement,

excellent problem-solving skills and be goal orientated

Key Skill Requirements: As a minimum, the post holder will have:

Full Driving Licence

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Managing civil engineering / utilities

Microsoft Project HNC/D Construction or Civil Engineering Manager/Supervisor's CSCS / SHEA Water Streetworks supervisor SMSTS
