Orcombe Point, Exmouth
REORG Commando Beach Assault is a Functional Fitness team competition based on Orcombe Point Beach, Exmouth. The event is open to both males and females, each team must consist of 4 athletes and must have at least 1 of each sex. The competition will be a full day, consisting of qualifying workouts, followed by the top 10 teams going through to compete in the finals in the afternoon. The winning team will be presented with the REORG trophy and will be crowned champions.
The 2019 competition will be a chance for 2018 winners to defend their title, and for everyone else to try and get their hands on the much coveted 'Tostevin Trophy'!
All funds raised through entry fees will be going to REORG Functional Fitness Foundation, Rock2Recovery and The Royal Marines Charity.
“It was important to us for the event to reflect the values that the Marines involved in Zebrugge displayed; no one would have got through that battle without teamwork, which is fundamental to the challenges. I’ve drawn upon my knowledge and experience in the Royal Marines to put the challenges together,”
“Both Rock 2 Recovery and Re-Org receive funding from the Royal Marines Charity so this is our way of saying thank you.”
