45 Commando invites you to take up Commando Raid Angus

In a rare opportunity, 45 Commando Royal Marines are inviting the public to take on the Commando Raid at their base near Arbroath on June 24th2017. The event is open to all, whether you’re an endurance runner, obstacle course devotee or just fancy the challenge of the Commando Raid.

Participants face a 6.4 mile, 16 stage obstacle course in aid of the 1664 Global Challenge, which recognises the formation of the Royal Marines in 1664.

“You will get muddy and you will get wet – You might even question why you volunteered. We can however promise that you’ll be challenged.”

45 Cdo Warrant Officer 1 (RSM) Ross Wilson

The event will be raising money for both the Royal Marines Charity and the Woodlands Garden Trust, a living memorial to the Marines from the unit who have fallen since 45 Commando moved to Arbroath in 1971.

Tickets for the Commando Raid are £45, with a limited number of early bird tickets available at £35.
