The Norway Winter Deployment – supported by The Royal Marines Charity

The Winter Deployment from the Royal Marines Club, in association with The Royal Marines Charity, has been designed to offer veteran and serving Royal Marines with physical, mental or financial challenges a short winter break with their families, free of any significant expense.

Norway is an area that the Corps have been to deployed to for Winter Warfare training for many years. The Corps shares strong links with the Rondane area in particular, where Royal Marines have been deployed in nearby Otta and Sjoa for winter training and exercise.

The winter deployment will see more than 60 people head out to Norway to enjoy hotel and spa facilities, dog sledding and other activities with a dash of festive spirit. The Norway Winter Deployment celebrates the Corps links with Norway, helping to reignite old friendships, starting new ones and offer those in need a short winter break.
